Dry HHO - Major Improvement on Wet Cell

Dry HHO is an improvement on the earlier wet-cell design

The main difference between these two is that the components of a dry HHO cell are kept dry unlike the components of a wet-cell design which were submerged in water. Dry HHO cell can create more electrical power and is more effective than the wet-cell. It still uses the same process of electrolysis like the old design but the power output has been boosted giving it more effectiveness and it also runs on lower temperatures than the wet-cell which keeps the cell and engine from overheating. Electrical components are also kept dry so there is no danger from a short-circuit and the equipment will last longer.

Dry HHO Design

Dry HHO uses special rubber gaskets which separate dry cells plates so the electrolyte solution (water) is trapped inside those gaskets where the plates are submerged into the electrolyte solution (water). Electrical equipment and connections are kept out of the solution preventing any malfunctions. Holes on the dry cell plates are used to get the electrolyte into the cell plates and let gas out. There are many different opinions regarding the number and displacement of the holes that affects optimum performance. The main problem of the wet cell design was the power leakage around the edges of the plates. This way you had to supply more power to the plate for the electrolysis to take place in order to produce the needed amount of HHO gas.

Dry HHO design does not have this problem due to its superior design where the electrical current is focused on the cell plates where electrolysis takes place and that way it  produces more HHO gas with less amount of power. The secret is in neutral plates encased in several positive and negative plates which serve the purpose by lowering the voltage between the positive and negative plates which makes the dry cell work more efficiently. It also produces less heat than the old design this way keeping the system and the engine cooler and smoother running.

Dimension improvement

Also an important improvement is the dry HHO cell dimensions. With this new design you are able to get the same amount of energy from a much smaller cell. Instead of building a robust 6``x 12`` unit you can now make a more compact design cell of about  4`` x  4`` and get the same results as from the old wet cell design. This new compact design allows you to install dry HHO on various types of engines with less effort and needed space for the housing. Also with this new design you won`t have to make any modifications to your car and is far less expensive to build than its predecessor.

Dry HHO systems are also known as Hydrogen on Demand systems, that way separating them from other hydrogen fuel additive systems that use stored hydrogen from hydrogen tanks and add it to the combustion process.
